The Centre

Derby Tai Chi Centre is based on London Road, Wilmorton, Alvaston and is used solely for the practice of Tai Chi and Health Qigong. It has been specifically designed to promote a calming atmosphere in order to enhance enjoyment and relaxation when learning these beautiful Chinese arts and is now the home of the Derby Tai Chi and Health Qigong Association.

Derby Tai Chi and Health Qigong Association is a recently formed Group for Tai chi and Health Qigong enthusiasts in the Derby area and aims to provide social events and activities in a friendly environment.  Past events include a training and sightseeing trip to China, Tai Chi and Health Qigong workshops taught by visiting Masters and a Tai Chi in the Park afternoon.

Road-side parking is available outside the Centre and there are regular buses  available from the centre of Derby.

The full address is 659-661 London Road, Wilmorton, Alvaston, Derby DE24 8UQ. If  your are coming out of  Derby City Centre, the studio is situated on the left hand side just after London Road Stores and next to the opticians.  The studio is located in the City Balance, Body and Mind Health Centre. The sign for the for the Body and Mind Centre is directly above the entrance to the Tai Chi Centre studio.
